As with House No. 11, this building was built with a solid brick construction without thermal insulation. However, it has an ETIC system and a diffusion-open inner coating.

This building was characterised by very good heat storage properties, which is due to the high specific building mass and the insulation of the building envelope. The evaluation of the measurement data showed a high level of moisture buffering, which was due to the good sorption characteristics of the interior plaster system that was used.
